Essential Oils for Wrinkles

|
Wrinkles occur as we mature and as we lose oxygen to the tissues. Essential oils oxygenate the tissues and thereby slow down the premature ageing of the skin.
Blend
1 drop of Frankincense
1 drop of Lavender
1 drop of Lemon
Mix the above oils in 1 oz of Grape seed oil or Olive oil.
Apply in the morning and night around the eyes and mouth area.
*Organic Therapeutic Grade essential oils are the best to use*

Skin Health & Medicinal Herbs

|
Echinacea |
is an example of a powerful skin herb. It works by purifying the blood, cleansing the lymph and strengthening the immune system. It is especially useful in pustular acne. |
Liquorice |
is a powerful anti-inflammatory and I often use it in treatment of red, itchy and inflamed skin where there is hormonal imbalance and disharmony in the body. |
Burdock and Cleavers |
have been traditionally used to clean the lymphatic system, thereby reducing the need to eliminate through the skin. Blue Flag helps to cleanse the blood and the lymph and is great in teas. |
Nettle leaf |
is useful where there is an associated allergic tendency. |

Feng Shui Tips

|
Top Five Feng Shui Tips
1. Wash all the windows of your home to gain clarity in your life.
2. Make sure your bed is positioned so that you can view the door if possible, but don’t align the bed directly with the doorway.
3. Surround yourself with things you love and items that represent who you are now.
4. Paint the rooms of your home different colors so that the energy can easily flow. If all the rooms are white or beige or even the same color throughout it creates a feeling of starkness and depression.
5. Make sure the path to your front door is clear of bushes, branches, trees, etc. and that nothing blocks the view to your entrance.

Sun Recovery |
Sun Recovery
Use a calcium and magnesium (+ Vitamin D) supplement immediately after long exposure to the sun or for sunburn (follow manufacturers dosage advice). The calcium will help to buffer the acidity in the blood caused by the burn, magnesium makes the calcium soluble and vitamin D helps with absorption.

Eating a teaspoon of good quality horseradish on a cracker three times daily before meals can bring some relief.
