Introductory Course in Holistic Kinesiology - with Xanthe Pearson in Sydney
Xanthe is a Holistic Kinesiology Practioner who qualified from the College of Complementary Medicine in Sydney.
The course is set in a beautiful garden room in Bondi and I was lucky enough to be invited along to the most recent date.
I didn’t have a great knowledge of Kinesiology prior to attending the course but I had listened to other peoples experiences of and with Kinesiology and wanted to get the lowdown for myself from an experienced practitioner and teacher.
Xanthe certainly holds a strong passion for Kinesiology that emanates throughout the course. She has a genuine belief in the therapy and its results combined with a vast knowledge of the subject area and the field of wellbeing and health in general. Xanthe outlined how Kinesiology works in relation to the 7 main chakras, the Five Chinese elements (Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal) and we even had chances to practice ourselves whilst under supervision.
You don’t have to have a therapy based background to attend this course. However, even experienced therapists or practioners may be able to take away new ideas back to their area of work.
After the three day introductory course you can also attend a workshop evening where you can meet the students who are currently studying for the Kinesiology diploma at the Complementary College of Medicine. This is a great opportunity to hear these students experience with Kinesiology and perhaps take your interest one step further.
